A gift card designed to feel like a piece of the product itself: aged leather, gold foil type and a brass wax-seal stamp for a handcrafted leather bag brand.

The brief
Design a gift card for Beara Beara that captures the brand itself: vintage, handmade and leather. A gift card is often a customer’s first contact with the brand, so it had to feel as considered as the bags it pays for.
The approach
The whole card is treated as a piece of tooled leather. A rich brown hide texture sits under a gold inset border with notched corners, like the edge stitching and embossing on a real bag. The type is set to look gold-foiled: the “Gift Card” title in wide-spaced serif capitals, and “Handmade • Timeless • Built to last” along the bottom. The white Beara Beara script logo is the brightest element on the front. A brass wax-seal stamp reading “Handcrafted with care” adds a tactile, heritage detail.
The card was built in Illustrator and Photoshop, with LTX Studio’s AI tools used for the detailed leather and brass work on the illustrated satchel and the seal.
The back keeps the same materials but is designed to be used. It has gold-ruled For and Amount lines and a framed Code box that can be filled in by hand, plus a short panel explaining how to redeem the card at checkout on bearabeara.co.uk.
