Darkness

A moody, red-tinted figure in shadow beside a short verse in spaced capitals, split by a decorative floral divider.

Black background: a red-tinted woman in shadow with dark tendrils on the left; on the right, the lines "Why am I not seen in the darkness" and "In the night you call for me" in spaced capitals, repeated above and below a floral divider.

About this piece

One of the darker, quieter pieces in the archive. A red-tinted figure fades into shadow on one side, and lines of verse in widely spaced capitals sit on the other, divided by a small floral ornament.

Every DeviantArt profile had a moody phase. This was mine.

The photograph is third-party, and I can’t confirm who wrote the verse, so it isn’t credited to me. My part was the colour treatment, layout and type.
