Galway City

A night street in Galway pushed into blazing oranges and reds, with exaggerated colour grading, hard contrast and a textured finish.

A narrow Galway street at night, the shopfronts and cobbles glowing saturated orange, yellow and red against a black sky, with a gritty texture and "Galway" signed in the corner.

About this piece

A night street in Galway, pushed hard. I turned the colour grading right up into orange and red, crushed the shadows to black and laid texture over the top.

A fairly ordinary street ended up looking closer to a painting.
