The brief
Grow Mersus Technologies’ organic social presence through 2024 and 2025 and drive traffic to its weekly blog. The blog covered where VR came from, how avatar-based learning works, and what VR training is doing in fields like healthcare, education and industry. Each post had to make a fairly technical topic feel approachable and give people a clear reason to click through.
The approach
Built a recognisable, repeatable system so a new post could go out every week without redesigning from scratch:
- A strong two-tone headline. A short white lead-in (“VR in”, “Virtual Reality”) over a huge condensed word in Mersus cyan, often split across two colours (“HEALTHCARE”, “EDUCATION”) so the key topic jumps out of the feed.
- Moody, colour-washed photography. Real people in headsets, toned down into Mersus navy so the type and frame always stay readable.
- A bracket frame with angled slashes. White and cyan line work frames the headline and gives every post the same dynamic, techy edge.
- A clear call to action. A one-line teaser for the blog post, a “Read Now!” button or mersus.io tag, and a footer of Mersus’s three pillars: Avatar Academy, VR Training and Immersive Developer.
Once the template was in place, a new topic only needed a new image, headline and teaser, as the Healthcare, Education and Success Stories posts show. The more editorial pieces, like Virtual Reality Evolution and Avatar Learning, varied the layout while keeping the same palette and type.
